New York Wedding for "The Apprentice"
On “The Apprentice,” Jennifer Crisafulli had to rise to whatever challenges that “the Donald,” dished up, and for over ten years she was a photo editor for Spin Magazine and Rolling Stone. With such competence and savvy, surely she could plan a wedding? Her own? In fact, she could, and she did; remarkably in just over a month. What’s more, she was smart enough to realize that on her actual wedding day (November 26th, the day after Thanksgiving), she did not want to worry the details. This is why she hired Lisa Light to coordinate the ceremony.

St. Mary’s church in Albany is a beautiful old Catholic church, the Crisafulli family’s place of worship. Once Jennifer confirmed that the majestic old church, and her beloved Father Doyle were available on the 26th (which was also, meaningfully, the anniversary of when Jennifer and Gary first met), they planned the rest of the wedding and reception around that.
Destination Bride helped with all of the pre-ceremony coordination; assisting the bridal party’s preparations, confirming the transportation, the music, and other elements of the ceremony. November 26th was a cold day in Albany, but there was warmth and beauty in the vaulted vestibule of St. Mary’s. An afternoon wedding, and Jennifer radiant in an Eve of Milady gown. Jennifer and Gary’s personal symbol was a seahorse, a symbolic joining of his love of the sea and her love for horses, which was used throughout the design of the wedding. A job well done!
